When I posted THIS POST, asking for help, and then sent an email to my bloggy friends, I never expected so many people to respond.I am blessed with wonderful friends, and I had a ton of ladies, who were more than willing to keep you all entertained while I get better, or get some sleep, or paint my garage, whatever, he he. WEST FURNITURE REVIVAL
Lauren caught my eye one day, of course I saw her linked up to a party, went to see her furniture makeover, got stuck looking at like almost all her posts, and practically begged her to start sharing her amazing pieces at my parties too. Of course being super sweet like she is, she did just that, and my girl has been a regular feature on my blog. I just can't help it, I ADORE her furniture. I love her style, I love the colors, I love the way she stages everything for her pictures, I love the cute name she gives all her pieces, and MOST of all, I LOVE her comic strips. I think it makes it so enjoyable to read her posts, they are just so awesome. Her blog is unique and I LOVE that. So without further ado, please welcome my friend Lauren, as she shows us a few of her fabulous finds.
So take it away girl, show us what you got!!
HI IM LAUREN AND MY BLOG IS
WEST FURNITURE REVIVAL..
I THOUGHT ID SHOW YOU A LITTLE PROJECT I
DID WHICH I HAVEN'T EVEN POSTED ON
MY SITE YET AND THEN SHOW YOU A
THIS PROJECT CAME ABOUT AS I
WANTED A LITTLE PRIVACY. OUR NEW
FRONT DOOR HAS CLEAR GLASS SIDE LIGHTS.
I DIDNT LIKE THE IDEA OF PEOPLE BEING
ABLE TO LOOK IN.
HERE IS A PICTURE OF THE DOOR
SO WHAT I DID WAS PURCHASE THESE BAMBOO
SHADES FROM LOWES WHICH WERE
ON CLEARANCE FOR
$6
when i was visiting my family in upstate
NY this week i had my brother cut the
roman shade down to the size i needed.
he did this with a circular saw
i taped the shade all the way around
where i had him cut it so it wouldnt
fray or chip the bamboo and i went over
the cut end with a lighter to prevent
fraying as well.
i used velcro to attach it to the door
and tada...
NOT BAD FOR $6
THEY LOOK LIKE THEY WERE MADE
FOR THE DOOR.
THEY ALLOW LIGHT IN AND GIVE ME
THE PRIVACY I WANTED...
THE FOLLOWING ARE SOME OF MY PROJECTS
I WANTED TO SHARE...
THIS RUSTY COLORED DRESSER WAS A $25
CRAIGS LIST FIND...
ANOTHER PROJECT WHICH I LOVE IS MY
PIECE I CALL MISS PEAPOD
and this piece i call BIG RED
So stop by and check them out. I love meeting new people and
seeing their projects as well.
Thank you to Bella @ Bella Before and After

I hope your feeling better....
I also have a revival monday feature
night, where I feature alot of
