One of my goals when starting this blog, was to highlight and bring more traffic to my moms business. While she is THE BOSS, I am her assistant, (not payed) so I guess apprentice, is a better term. But, hello MOM, are you listening, with all the traffic I plan on bringing your way, I think I can start getting payed now, he he.
Some history, my mom has been making cakes for like over 30 years now, seriously. Practically her whole life, and since I was raised around this, I guess I have been making, and decorating cakes, (and definitely eating them) my whole life. We have been doing cakes for family and friends, for most of that time. In the recent years however, we decided to go from baking upstairs in the kitchen, and transform part of the downstairs in a separate kitchen, and that's just we did. We are in the final stages of getting the license we need to make it SUPER OFFICIAL.
So with that in mind, I am so excited to announce that this year, I will start a new series here, on Bella Before and After, and it will be all about Cake Decorating, Pastries, and anything else you wanted to know. All with fun tutorials, and sometimes even recipes.
I would love to hear if you guys are as excited about this as I am.
I also FINALLY got around to creating a FACEBOOK page for the business, it's there in the sidebar, under mine.
Would you guys please go say hello, and give us a like. My mom would be SUPER thrilled :)
