I have finally started decorating!
My house is a WRECK, as in tornado flew thru here, lol, but all my decorations came out yesterday, and now it's craft time in my household. Poor kids know what this means. Pizza, and cereal for the rest of the week. Seriously, today I made a chicken sandwich for lunch, and that was pushing it. No more misses nice guy.
I have serious work to do people.
Alrighty then, let me show you what I have to work with, and what needs to be decorated. Ready, for a tour? Come on girls, take a look.
Ha Ha, this is ALL I have, one little container.
10 cents each for these little guys, 3 years ago.
All clearance items, 25 cents each for pumpkins, Dollar Store pumpkins, Kohls Clearance on the house, and trees.
These are for fall, but just showing you what was in there.
This was a recent Dollar Store purchase. You can't see the black gloves, and ping pong balls, in the front in the picture. Just telling you what's there.
Front entrance, needs some major SPOOK.
When you walk in the house, to the left is the hall, also needs to be spooked out.
Big time, needs it. Great place to decorate.
So you are standing at the front door, looking in. The hall is on the left. This is a view of my tall ceilings, and very not scary room.
Now look to the right, and here's my kitchen. Needs major work.
Living room, my couches will be moved to their usual party locations soon.
My plain mantle. It is actually pretty scary, how pathetic it looks right now. At least all of Dino D's Dinos are all over the floor, does that count for scary,,, lol.
Ummm, yeah, so this is my HUGE plain wall, that needs to be my main work of art. Oh man, this is tough, I still can't quite decide on what I am doing, but you guys will see it soon enough.
Another view into the kitchen from the fireplace.
The door that leads to the garage. Again very scary, how messy and dirty it is. Somebody help me, please.
Dino D, posing, lol, so cute.
One last pic of the kitchen.
Yeah that was quite the tour, now you know what I am against. I really wish I could have started sooner, but such is my life. Never a dull moment.
Ok now the tricky part, is what to do with all this.
ANY suggestions?
What in the world would you guys do the materials I have on hand, and how would you decorate these large areas, for the biggest bang for your buck, ya know. Seriously that is always my challenge. It's such a LARGE OPEN living area, which I love, but it's so hard to make large scale decorations, to fill it up, and make an impact. So if you guys could give me some suggestions ASAP, maybe I can incorporate them in my design. Im all ears, ladies, so tell me what you think.
Here's some teasers until tomorrows post.
Can you figure out what I'm doing?
Hope everyone is having a fabulous week so far, and can't wait to hear your thoughts on today's post.
